THE EXECUTIVE PERSPECTIVE

Turn incoming documents into reliable work, not another queue.

Finance and operations teams often spend too much time transcribing documents and correcting inconsistent records. CCS can automate approved extraction and validation steps while giving reviewers a clear queue for uncertain or exceptional cases.

HOW THE DESIGN WORKS

Follow the logic.

Documents enter a controlled ingestion workflow. Extraction produces fields and confidence values, then business rules check completeness and consistency. Exceptions go to a person; validated records reach ERP or CRM adapters with duplicate protection and an audit trail.

Set field-level confidence and human validation thresholds.
THE RETURN ON THE INVESTMENT

Make value measurable.

Potential value · to be validated

Potential return comes from less data entry and correction work. The real measure is the cost of a correctly processed document, including review and exceptions, rather than the number of pages passed through an extraction model.

01

Cost per correctly processed document

Baseline → pilot → operational review

02

Straight-through processing with quality checks

Baseline → pilot → operational review

03

Field accuracy and exception-review time

Baseline → pilot → operational review

A PRACTICAL VALUE MODEL

Annual handling value = eligible documents × net minutes saved per document ÷ 60 × loaded processing cost.

Include per-page extraction, storage, reviewer effort, integration and changing document formats.

Recovered time represents capacity, not automatically cash savings. Count it as financial benefit only where finance agrees how that capacity will be used. No achieved client ROI is claimed for this reference architecture.

Model your first-year ROIUse your own estimates. See the calculation change.

Enter values in one currency. Gross benefit must reflect achievable adoption and timing. Include all first-year costs; do not count the same benefit twice. These figures stay on this page and are not submitted.

First-year net valueAdd your estimatesFirst-year ROINot yet calculated

ROI = (gross benefit − operating cost − implementation cost) ÷ (operating cost + implementation cost) × 100. Requires a positive total cost. An estimate, not a forecast or guaranteed return.
